Emerson asked us to animate the installation of their Aventics Series SPRA electric rod-style actuator. The product ships as a modular system, so it has to be assembled, mounted and connected correctly before it runs. They wanted a clear visual guide that showed every step in the right order, without leaning on dense written instructions. It needed to work as a support tool for engineers and as sales content that shows how simple the SPRA is to fit.

The challenge
The SPRA comes in a wide range of configurations and connects to different motors and control systems. Getting the assembly right depends on doing each step in the correct sequence. The main job was turning a multi-part installation into something anyone could follow, with each component appearing at the right moment and fitting exactly as it does in real life. Everything had to stay true to the engineering while still reading clearly to someone seeing the product for the first time.

The solution
We built the actuator in 3D from Emerson's own CAD data, so every part matched the real dimensions. The animation moves through the installation one step at a time, showing how each component mounts and connects, and slowing down on the details that matter. Exploded views and controlled camera moves reveal how the parts come together, including the connections that are hard to show in a photograph or a printed manual. It gives Emerson a single clear reference for engineers, distributors and customers, and one that makes the SPRA's modular design easy to understand.
